Hi, I’m Jeff Revilla.

I believe podcasting isn’t broken.
But the traditional business model is.

For years, podcasters have been told to chase downloads, hope for ad revenue, and wait for sponsors to notice them. Most never reach 1,000 downloads. Most never make money. And most quietly quit.

I took a different approach.

Instead of building a podcast that waits to be discovered, I built a stage.

The Shift: From Downloads to Doors

I’m the founder of Poduty Live, a live podcast theater in Tarentum, Pennsylvania. It’s a physical space where creators can record in front of a live audience — and stream globally at the same time.

I call it the “Infinite Seat Theater.”

The idea is simple:
Start local. Build real connection. Monetize from day one.
Then let the internet expand your reach.

Four people in a room can generate more revenue than 1,000 downloads.
That realization changed everything for me.

• Stuff I Never Knew – A trivia game show podcast featuring creators from around the world
• Poduty and the News – The only live news podcast about podcasting, recorded from the stage
• My Guest Tonight – Featuring unique content creators, authors and podcasters.
• Rise and Outshine – A showcase format built to spotlight podcasters and elevate their work

Every show I produce is built around one belief:

Podcasting works best when it is experienced, not just downloaded.

Why I Care So Much About Live Podcasting

I’ve spent my career in digital marketing, analytics, and business strategy. I understand data. I understand margins. I understand what it takes to make something sustainable.

When I looked at traditional podcast monetization, the math didn’t make sense for most creators.

Live events do.

When you combine ticket sales, experiences, merchandise, memberships, and sponsorships around real community — podcasting becomes a business, not a hobby.

That’s the future I’m building toward.
